After collection
What happens to your
wood waste next?
Each load is transported to one of our recycling or recovery partners, where the wood is processed through industrial shredders and sorted to remove contaminants.
Depending on its grade and specification, the recovered wood may be prepared for further reuse, converted into wood pellets or used as a renewable fuel in biomass and combined heat and power facilities.
Material is shredded into a consistent size at a partner facility.
Contaminants are removed and the wood is separated by specification.
The material is directed towards an appropriate reuse or energy outlet.
